Tochiro Oyama Retrospective

This retrospective is in honor of the greatest mechanical engineer of the Three Nine universe and beyond, Toshiro Oyama. The following images from the OVA Queen Emeraldas highlight his life's work in designing the battleships Yamato, Queen Emeraldas, and the Arcadia. 

Toshiro is not only a great mecha designer, he was also the lifelong best friend of Captain Harlock, tutor to the young Emeraldas, and guide to countless young adventurers on their way to Andromeda Station (not to mention his work on the Galaxy Express 999 itself). You may not be much to look at Toshiro, but we salute you!
